The foundation

THEIstituto Banco di Napoli - Foundation has one of the largest bank archives the world.

Inside are kept documents that tell 500 years of Neapolitan history, Southern, Italian, European and non-European countries. The structure also has an important one Library - newspaper library and adheres to the network of Italian libraries.

The archive is located in the sixteenth century Rich Palace.

In the courtyard is the Chapel of the Mount of the Poor, designed in the 1663 by Giuseppe Caracciolo. Inside there are many works of art by Luca Giordano, Francesco Solimena and Domenico Antonio Vaccaro.
