Campania Artecard, how it works, how much it costs and how to use it

Presentation image of the Artecard Campania and Naples

The Artecard is a special card that allows you to more easily use the cultural sites of Campania and in some versions of combine transport and tickets for visiting the main ones monuments and cultural sites of the city in a single subscription. In fact, thanks to the Artecard you can visit the main cultural sites for free and also benefit from many discounts all ANM or UnicoCampania network transport towards places of art are included in some versions of the card.

What are the limits of the Artecard

Except for versions Campania > Artecard 365, the number of entries is cumulative and limited! This means that, for example, the Naples> Artecard allows 3 entries, after which it will no longer be usable to access cultural sites, but don't throw them away! Let there be Naples>Artecard that the Campania> Artecard, when they run out of admissions, they are still useful because there allow you to receive 50% discount on all subsequent entries.

Therefore, you must carefully choose which sites you want to visit, as using the Artecard to visit the cheapest sites first could be the case not very convenient.

Transportation is not always included

Transport is only included in the following cards, while transport is not included in all other versions of the Cards.

  • Naples>Artecard
  • Naples>Artecard young people
  • Campania>Artecard 3
  • Campania>Artecard 3 young people

They are an exception transport of these types and lines which They are NEVER included:

  • Alibus,
  • Sita Sud lines for Sorrento/Positano/Amalfi
  • Eav bus from Pompeii to Vesuvius (special fare)
  • Campania Express

The circuits are considered as a single input: here's what they are

It should be taken into account that very often the sites belonging to the same circuit are merged into a single entrance even if they are several different structures, as long as the visit takes place on the same day.

For example, it is possible to visit in the arch of the same day, using a single entrance, all the cultural sites of the Campi Flegrei circuit by purchasing the entrance ticket via Artecard only in the first one you access!

Again by way of example, by adequately exploiting the circuits, only two entrance tickets can be used to visit in a single day:

  • Ruins of Pompeii
  • Excavations of Herculaneum
  • MAV
  • Archaeological museum in Baia Castle
  • Flavian Amphitheatre
  • Archaeological Park of Cuma
