On March 23, 2020, a weather alert is expected in Campania due to snowfall and freezing.

As we read from the Morning and the Republic online, from midnight on March 23 2020 and until midnight close to March 24, there is aweather alert throughout Campania.

So it lasts for 24 hours and predicts a sharp drop in temperatures, in contrast to the heat of the previous days. Across the region are expected snow and frost.

Bad weather mainly affects zone 2 (Alto Volturno and Matese), zone 4 (Alta Irpinia and Sannio) and zone 5 (Tusciano and Alto Sele). In particular, for zone 5 there are also “Snowfall with weak accumulations above 300-500 meters and locally also at lower altitudes. Persistent frosts at altitudes above 300-500 meters and locally also at lower altitudes"
